Temple Run 2

During the last couple of flights to and from Germany, I have been honing my skills on the above game.

I was introduced to this the last time the twins came to stay and it is somewhat addictive.

Determined to beat Emelia's high score of 300,000 or so, I put a lot of effort in to achieve what you can see in the picture.

The only comment from the competitive 12 year old - Let battle commence!

Snow Joke......anymore

Not funny any longer. This weather is starting to pi$$ me right off. Plans for today would have been 1) Greenhouse to start off some delicate young shoots and seeds 2) Shopping at Waitrose 3) Down the Rec to watch the mighty Stanwick Rovers.

It looks like none of these is going to happen.

......and just to rub salt in, the neighbours have told me that they are off to Lanzarote on Wednesday where it is a very nice 25c. Oh very nice!

Spring you are overdue - Get a move on!

This weather is just depressing. Having spent all last week in Frankfurt battling with a foot of snow and -8c, the weather here is just dreary.

Spring surely is long overdue. I need to get out into the greenhouse to start proceedings for the year - no chance with the odd random frost still appearing.

Still 60 days until our May escape to the sun. Nice picture from our recent brochures should cheer people up - location a £22m villa on the beach in Majorca - nice!
